Olympian Greg Louganis and Johnny Chaillot Break up After 8 Years of Marriage – E! On-line

Because the saying goes: All good issues should come to an finish.

After eight years of marriage, Olympic gold medalist Greg Louganis introduced that he and Johnny Chaillot are going their separate ways. The 61-year-old diving champion took to Instagram to share the news about their divorce on Friday night, June 18.

“At the moment, Johnny and I want to share that we’re respectfully and mutually ending our marriage,” Greg’s assertion started. “Marriage amongst all {couples} is as a rule difficult, and, notably throughout #pridemonth, it is necessary that we are saying how grateful we have been to be among the many first homosexual {couples} to have the privilege to marry legally, and face these challenges so many do. It is one thing not so way back that many people have been sure would by no means occur.”

He continued, “And so, we make this announcement with that in thoughts, and to ask for the respect and privateness of anybody heading down this new street we should embrace. Due to everybody who has supported and nurtured us all of those years.”
