Bull shark

A shark in North Carolina attacked a 16-year-old boy

His father told CNN that Nick Arthur was jumping on the waves on a sandy strip about 25 feet from the beach when he started screaming.

Tim Arthur said: “At first I thought he was screaming out of joy, then I looked at him and saw the shark.”

Arthur said, “He was screaming,” get it off me. Let me go “and I jumped to work.

Arthur said that his daughter swam to the beach while he and his son Shark were fighting. Arthur said he kicked the shark near his nose while Nick was hitting him with his hand. The shark allowed Nick’s thigh while trying to hold his hand, which allowed Nick to swim freely.

The attack occurred in the ocean near the slope vehicle 25, two miles south of the village of Salvo, according to the National Park Service.

The Arthur family was visiting Cape Hatteras National Beach from their home in Oak Ridge, North Carolina, near Winston Salem.

Nick received 17 stitches and had 40 dental prints on his thigh.

Nick was taken to a hospital near Nags Head where he was treated for his injuries, according to the National Park Service. His father said that he ended up with his 40s on his thigh and had 17 stitches. He had to have stitches on his thumb and had dental scratches on his hand.

Despite the bruises and ulcers, Arthur said his son had good spirits and luckily, there seemed to be no permanent damage. He said the incident did not disturb the family from swimming on the beach, but added that they might not be out in the future.

Arthur said, “You always think it will not be you.”
